Watch as Kristina struggles to teach Sarah the definitions of these words. English vocabulary video lesson --- Hey everybody, what’s up it’s Kristina and welcome back to my channel. Today we’re going to talk about 11 different English words that may be driving you just a little bit crazy from how confusing they can be. But no worries, I’ve got my special assistant Sarah here to help us - because we know how much of a help she was last time - trying to steal my job. So Sarah and I are going to help you learn and understand the difference between all the different meanings of these 11 words. This is all going to happen in our very real conversation. So without further ado, let’s get this party started and begin. Let's just look over all these papers for the students so that we can give them the corrections that they need and we can give them advice on what they need to do to continue studying, how they can continue studying in our next class with them, okay? Sarah? Uh huh. I’m here. Give them advise. Got it. Do you even know what advise means? Yeah, of course. It means guidance, recommendations, duh! No, that’s advice. You said advise. You know, like to advise someone? Isn’t that the same thing? No, that’s advice. You said advise, which means to give them guidance or advice. Sarah, you can’t be teaching these students incorrectly if you’re going to be an English teacher. Language is an art. And if they’re going to be learning a language then they have to learn it properly. Oh, believe me, I know all about art, okay? I studied cosmology, you know. You studied cosmetology, how to put on makeup! Yeah, I know, that’s what I said! No, you said cosmology, which is the science of the universe and there is just a little bit of a difference between studying the universe and how to put on makeup! And also, there’s just a little bit of a difference between studying the universe and thinking that you are the center of the universe, okay! Okay, Kristina, if you keep talking to me like I’m stupid, you’re going to cause a riff in our relationship! Uh huh. You mean a rift? It’s going to cause a rift in our friendship. I assume that’s what you mean. Oh my God, are you deaf? That’s what I just said! Sarah, I don’t think you should teach our students. I think you should go and seriously take some time to think about teaching and if being a part of this English school is something that you really want to do. What, you want me to maul it over or something? No, Sarah, I want you to mull it over, not maul. Mull. But actually, why don’t you go mull it over at the mall since that’s what you do so well. Whatever! Mull it over before I maul you. What was that? Nothing. Are you going now? Fine. I’ll mull it over at the mall like you said before I come back to resign my contract at the mall last year. Don’t you mean re-sign? Oh, my God. That’s what I said! Sure. We can talk about you resigning as soon as you come back. I think that’s a great idea. Thank you!
